KITE-BALLOON REVIVES TALES OF AIR DISCS
Army recruiting officers announced today that they are in possession of what was described to them as possible fragments of a "flying disc," found by a man living at 111 Brundage Lane, who turned them over to Master Sergeant A. E. Hasson, chief army recruiter here.
Like the famous dead duck that came in the window, this apparatus just "flew in." It resembles in some respects a kite and balloon combinations that are sent up by meteorologists. Sergeant Hasson, who views with a dim eye the flying disc stories, said it looked as if it had been made by loving hands at home by someone with a flair for practical jokes.
